Yes Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 3,988 crore during the March quarter of F.Y. 21.The new net loss was Rs 3,668 crore a during same period in previous year. However, it had posted a net profit of 148 crore in the December quarter.
Further, during the quarter, its total income declined to Rs 4,805.30 crore from 5,818.59 crore in the same period a year ago.
The provisions and contingencies rose 7.5.percent Year-on-Year (YoY) to Rs 5,239.59 crore as compared to Rs 4,872.34 crore in the same quarter last year.
Whereas, the bank’s non-performing assets (NPA) as on 31stMarch 2021, stood at 15.41 percent of the gross advances, slightly down from 16.80 percent in the year ago period. While, net NPA rose to 5.88 percent from 5.03 percent a year ago.
