Union Budget Will be Released on Mobile App

Ministry of Finance, through a recent series of tweets has informed that the most awaited Union Budget 2022-23 to be presented on 1^st February, 2022 will be paperless.

The same will also be available on Mobile Application after it is presented in Parliament. It is a bilingual app, available on both Android & iOS platforms to provide easy and quick access to Union Budget information to all stakeholders.

Further, Mobile App can be downloaded from the Union Budget Web Portal. Whereas, all Budget documents will also be available for download on Union Budget Web Portal.

However, last year the Finance Ministry had taken the decision not to print the upcoming budget’s documents and to consider paperless budget on 1^st February, 2021. Taking into consideration the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a significant break from the tradition, creating a historic move since independence of India.
