Larson and Turbo (L&T) Hydrocarbon Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has won the biggest Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) contract worth Rs 7000 crore.
EPCC is the biggest contract in the country in the refinery and petrochemical sector, given by HRRL, a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) and the government of Rajasthan.
The EPCC deal is for setting up a petrochemical fluidised catalytic cracking, including propylene recovery unit for the refinery project.
