Import / Export of Goods is Allowed Without Furnishing of Bonds till 30th June, 2021


The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has clarified in a circular that importers as well as exporters are allowed to export or import goods without furnishing bonds to the customs authority till 30thJune, 2021.

The step has been taken in view of the difficulties being faced in the ongoing lockdown imposed in different states of India.

Accordingly, for maintaining balance between Customs control and to facilitate legitimate trade, the CBIC has said it has approved relaxation of the requirement to submit bonds till end of June.
