Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has informed through a recent tweet that threshold limit for generating E-Invoice has been reduced to Rs 10 crore from Rs 20 crore.
Accordingly, taxpayers whose aggregate turnover exceeds Rs 10 crore in any financial year, generating E-Invoice for B2B Supply of Goods or Services or both, or for Exports is mandatory with effect from 1st October, 2022.
Earlier, in February 2022, CBIC had reduced E-Invoicing threshold limit from Rs 50 to 20 Crore.
