Keeping in view, the second wave of Covid Pandemic Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has now allowed its members to avail second non-refundable Covid advance.
It was introduced during Covid pandemic first wave, Accordingly, non-refundable withdrawal to the extent of the basic wages and dearness allowance for 3 months as up to 75 percent of the amount standing to EPF account, whichever is less, is provided.
EPFO is committed to settle these claims within 3 days of their receipt. Members who have availed the first Covid 19 advance can now opt for a second Covid-19 advance.
So far, EPFO has settled more than 7,931 Lakh Covid-19 advance claims by disbursing a total of Rs 18,698.15 crore till date.
