CBDT extends due date of filing ITR and Audit Reports

On 24th October 2020,  the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the due date for filing an Income tax return and Audit compliances for F.Y 2019-20.

As per the notification, the due date for ITR (audit required) has been extended from 31st October 2020 to 31st January 2021

The due date for ITR ( international and domestic specified transactions) has been extended from 30th November 2020 to 31st January 2021 and  Audit report till 31st December 2020.

And for ITR ( others), it has been extended to 31st December 2020.

Further provided, the due date for payment of self-assessment for the taxpayers having tax liability up to Rs 1 lakh has been extended to 31st January 2021 as well as for other taxpayers it has been extended till 31st December 2020.
