Association of Chartered Accountants, Jalandhar, on 17th July, 2021, has sent a representation to the honourable Finance Minister regarding new Income Tax portal.
The association has listed 21 issues that the tax filers are continuously facing in the portal, it stated that electronic form of various returns (ITR2, ITR3, ITR5, ITR6 and ITR7) has not been still issued.
The representation has further pointed un availability of various forms 3CA-3CD and form 3CB-3CD for audit, form 15CA and 15CB are not still enabled, form 10A and 10B are yet not available.
Further, tax filers are unable to download intimation under section 143(1). The uploading time is very slow in the portal and many Income Tax Returns for AY 2020-21 are not being processed.
Beside representing various issues in detail, it added that taxpayers are not able to access old records and also there are other anomalies in past tax records.
